GIVEAWAY: Blood Red Road

Hey, people, I'm giving away Blood Red Road by Moira Young.

From Goodreads:
Saba has spent her whole life in Silverlake, a dried-up wasteland ravaged by constant sandstorms. The Wrecker civilization has long been destroyed, leaving only landfills for Saba and her family to scavenge from. That's fine by her, as long as her beloved twin brother Lugh is around. But when a monster sandstorm arrives, along with four cloaked horsemen, Saba's world is shattered. Lugh is captured, and Saba embarks on an epic quest to get him back.

Suddenly thrown into the lawless, ugly reality of the world outside of desolate Silverlake, Saba is lost without Lugh to guide her. So perhaps the most surprising thing of all is what Saba learns about herself: she's a fierce fighter, an unbeatable survivor, and a cunning opponent. And she has the power to take down a corrupt society from the inside. Teamed up with a handsome daredevil named Jack and a gang of girl revolutionaries called the Free Hawks, Saba stages a showdown that will change the course of her own civilization.
Blood Red Road has a searing pace, a poetically minimal writing style, violent action, and an epic love story. Moira Young is one of the most promising and startling new voices in teen fiction.
Blood Red Road is such an awesome book, full of action, girl-power, and love! So why am I giving it away? Because I have 2 copies of this book and I only need 1! And why do I have an extra copy? Because I previously won a copy and then bought a copy at Borders when Borders was closing!

So how do you win this book?

To enter, comment below on your favorite Halloween memory or a favorite costume. Remember to include your email address. You can also tweet about this giveaway for an extra entry and put it in a SEPARATE comment!

I'm sorry. US only.

Giveaway ends on Halloween at 12pm EST :)

When my brother and I were little, we went as Aladdin and Jasmine for Halloween in homemade costumes our Mom made. Which is so awkward in retrospect. But we looked adorable and that was my favorite costume. xD

My favorite memories definitely come from my childhood, dressing up in matching costume with my sister and enjoying the neighborhood wide haunted house. Can I be a kid again? :D

Thanks for the giveaway!

When I was a child, I dressed as Cinderella. At the very last house I was trick or treating at, I had to climb up and down many stairs. On the way down, I lost one of my shoes and I just remember being laughed at by so many people. I realized that they weren't laughing at me, but they were laughing at the fact that I was Cinderella and I lost my shoe. It's still kind of silly now.

Um...we didn't celebrate Halloween, but I do remember one time when I helped out in my community. I was part of "Safe Trick-or-Treating" or something like that downtown and distributed candy for local businesses while they ran their shops. One baby was dressed up as the striped cat from Alice In Wonderland. He was super chubby and cute!

Hiya, Ohhh good question. When I was little, I remember dressing up as a ketchup bottle. I kept falling over 'cuz the costume was a little heavy. I just wouldn't let my dad take it back. Thanks for the contest. You're grrreeeatttt.

My favorite Halloween memory was not a great one. But it was hilarious. In second grade, my mom had me trick or treat with this giant plastic bag. You could fit me in there easily. Not that I would try that. But you get the idea. As I trick or treated, my amount of candy kept on dwindling. I was puzzled. I later found out why; my bag had a hole on the bottom and I left a candy trail all over town. I was extremely sad. (who wouldn't be after most of her candy disappeared?) This memory pops up every time I think about Halloween.

Thank you very much for this giveaway.

I think my favorite costume was a homemade costume I made to look like a gothic bride. I got to wear a wig, I wore long, fake black nails and I made a one of those decorative things that go across your forehead (what are they called?) using a rubber spider. I thought I looked pretty cool. :)

My favorite costume was when I decided to go as a vampire. I chose to be a vampire because I was convinced that my sister was a vampire. WHen I was little, she would lick her lips in front of me and say, "I'm hungry.Good night! " Took me months to figure out she was joking...:)

Thank you so much for this giveaway!

I was a victorian zombie last year. I wore like a gothic dress and had old accessories to match. With the help of my best friend, I used paper towel, red dye, and glue to paste "flesh" on my face. That was the best Halloween year for me.
